Way up from Maiern to Schneeberg (4 hours)
From the mining museum in Maiern (1400 m) about 7 km on a small road through the Lazzachertal (Lazzacher Valley) to the Poschalm (also called Moarerbergalm - 2114 m - 1,5 hours). From there on a steap, but well-constructed mountain path up to the Schneebergscharte (2700 m). In zigzag mountain roads steaply downwards to the entrance hole of the Kaindl Gallery (2500 m) and then a little downwards on a broad path away from the valley to the Schneeberg (2355 m).
